The Kynrem waterfall is situated in the East Khasi Hills district, at the Thangkharang Park. It lies approximately at a distance of 12 KM from Cherrapunji. This cascade is popularly known for being the highest waterfall in Meghalaya and the 7th highest in India. The water here pours down from an altitude of 1,001 feet and flows down in three stages from the pinnacle of the hill. The kynrem falls proffer a mesmeric panorama of the Thangkharang Park, it allures several visitors with its natural beauty.
