DIGHA MARINE AQUARIUM

Marine Aquarium and Research Centre is a recently made attraction in the city and is winning hearts all across the country because of its great technology. The place was put into by the National Council of Science Museums and today has become a hot tourist spot to visit. The place has 32 tanks out of which 24 are big and 8 are small fresh water tanks that are fascinating to see. The main aim of the place is to show marine diversity and make people understand life under the sea.
The research center has the largest Marine aquarium in India. The aquarium has a total of 32 tanks out of which 24 are big and 8 are small freshwater tanks that are equipped with compressed air supply, light, and regulated supply of water. One can spot species like sea anemones, rays, lobsters, crabs, and even sharks in the center's humungous tanks. The museum also displays various awareness posters linked to marine life, biodiversity, and conservation. The research center is an ideal place to take your kids, who would be in awe of the various kinds of sea creatures that lie beneath the mysterious sea level.
