The Hemis National Park is established in 1981 and is also known as Snow Leopard Capital of India. It is mostly barren habitat and is home to around 11 species of fauna, which include some of the most endangered and rare species and around 30 species of avifauna. Some of the most beautiful and rare species that you can find here include Pallas' Cat, Ibex, Wolf, Tibetan argali and the Ladakh urial.
