Architecture
The temple has beautiful architecture and resembles a typical north indian hindu temple, which has a white sanctum.
Religious Significance
As it is mentioned in Mahabharata, this place was ruled by the Demon King Hiramba. It is a place of mythological significance as Pancha Pandavas spent a few years of their exile here. Bheem deeply loved Hirimba (sister of Hiramba) this made Hiramba angry and because of which he had clashed with Bheem and he was killed by Bheem at the same place where Khargeswar Temple is located.
History
This temple was built 400 years ago by King Kharag Singh.
