Architecture
Sri Thiruchembur Murugan Temple has a sculptures on the Rajagopuram (the main entrance tower) and the Vimanam (the vertical structure above the Sanctum Sanctorum) have been designed on the pattern of Chola, Pandya and Pallava. This temple was constructed in Pallava style of architecture and at the entrance to the temple are two giant pillars made up of granite with 45 feet in height which enhance the beauty of the temple and add to its majesty. Once has to climb 108 steps to reach the temple.
