Architecture

The Lord Venkateswara place of residence is on the top of “Garudadri Hill”. The hill appears as Garuda on which seated are the “Lord Venkateswara and Lakshmi” when we look from some distance. This temple is also called as “Upamaka” which means that there is no other place in this world comparable to this as its par beyond. The entryway of the inner harbor for ships and liners are able to be seen from the temple.

History

This temple was built in 1866 A.D. by European Captain Blackmoor.
