KOLAVIPALAM TURTLE BEACH

Kolavipalam Beach is also known as “Turtle Beach” because of frequent turtles found on the beach. In the month of September, you can see endangered Olive Ridley Turtles in the search of the place to lay eggs. The local children started caring for the hatchlings way back in the 1990's and this has made all the locals lend a hand to the conservation of the Turtles. You must visit the Olive Ridley conservation centre to see baby Turtles. All in all, this is perfect for the nature lover.
