Architecture
This temple was constructed by carving the single stone. Situated about 15 feet above the normal level of the land, Bhaironath in the south, Mata Parvati in the south and Hanuman ji temple in the south. The remains of granite stone were found on the 12-inch lower-pitched dugout banyan tree in the temple. there is a pond in the Western part of the temple. During excavation there were many rare metal sculptures of Dwapar period. Which has been established near the very ancient mool tree.
History
It is said that this temple was constructed during Dwapar period. The Calcutta High Court described this temple as very ancient. The excavation was carried out in 1962 by Saint Prem Bhikshu, resident of Chhatouni village.
